The Confederate Society embraces the heritage that defines us. Stonewall Jackson is the embodiment of our cause. A loving, strict and determined individual, he often took to the aggressive when outnumbered by more than two to one. His victorious Spring 1862 Valley Campaign is still studied at military institutes. His flanking move at Chancellorsville was quite possibly the greatest military attack in history. At his core, he was a loving man who thought of sending his donation to the colored school the day after his great victory at First Manassas- instead of writing his reports. He had no slaves nor the desire to own one. He fought for his love of Ole Virginia, his State which was his country.
